But the tulle used on the dress had a very strong pungent smell, almost a fish smell. We laundered the dress four times before we felt the odor was either masked by the detergent or was washed away. It looks great on our daughter and smells clean now.Such a beautiful first communion dress!The dress is even more beautiful in person.
